Kitchen Makeover Creates Drama

The concept for this kitchen renovation developed from the clients' desire to have a space that reflects their casual lifestyle. Their existing kitchen was always over-crowded as the family of four gathered to share meals or as they entertained family and friends. While the kitchen space was too small, an adjoining formal dining room sat mostly unused.

With the removal of the wall between the existing kitchen and formal dining room, a new, large, informal kitchen was born.

The new kitchen boasts enough space and a functional layout that accommodates multiple cooks, increased storage capabilities, a large island that doubles as a preparation area, and a casual dining/serving surface.

The warm, inviting, décor reflects the simple style the clients desired.

The renovated kitchen is now truly the centerpiece of this home.
