First Floor Design & Remodel

Traditional Style Meets a Modern Color Palette

When our clients came to us with the request to transform the first floor of a 1990s home, we saw a unique opportunity to merge two unexpected styles. A desire for neutral colors and a taste for the traditional became the launching point for this impressive remodel.

Using a light color palette, we incorporated more traditional details like wall panels, black staircase railings, custom built-in cabinetry, and timeless lighting. The details on this design can be found in every corner; from intricate millwork to unexpected wallpapers. The enormous kitchen boasts two islands, providing lots of prep space and room to congregate. Every piece of furniture chosen, every material sourced, and every fixture worked together to create a sumptuous, warm, space that’s perfect for this busy family of five.
